The Sea, History, and the Cycles of Life

The sea is a timeless teacher. No matter how many rivers pour into it, the sea is never full. It continuously receives, yet continuously gives back through evaporation. This cycle mirrors our own lives — we are constantly receiving, losing, and replenishing.

The tides remind us of influence. Just as the moon and sun govern the ebb and flow of the waters, unseen forces — our habits, choices, and values — shape the rhythms of our lives.

History, too, follows this cycle. Despite changes in technology or culture, human nature remains consistent. Greed, love, ambition, and conflict resurface again and again. That is why history seems to repeat itself.

The sea, with its endless balance, invites us to reflect: Are we learning from these cycles, or are we simply swept along by them?
